This instrument works for such applications as leak testing, high-purity gas delivery, thin film deposition, gas blending, fuel cells, and environmental monitoring. The HFC-D-303B includes a colour touchscreen display that allows local adjustments and monitoring of gas flow, plus powerful and intuitive menus that enable control of the gas flow in many ways. The device can be installed and operating in a matter of seconds, benefiting users with a flexible custom flow solution without the lead time or custom price.

Other benefits of the HFC-D-303B include graphic view flow, multi-gas calibration, sensor diagnostics, totalizer, analog and digital outputs, flow capacity from five standard cubic centimetres a minute to 10,000 standard litres a minute, fitting options from compression to surface mount, optional metal and elastomer seals, and high linearity, accuracy, and flexibility. Some of the technical specifications:

• Accuracy – ½ a per cent of reading plus 0.2 per cent of full scale
