Durham Instruments partners with HBM Test and Measurement to supply solutions like the ClipX interference-proof signal conditioner, which sets new standards in industrial process control. With an accuracy class of 0.01 and a calibration certificate, this precise device is easy to integrate, adapting to every measurement application whether used with single- or multiple-channel tasks, in manufacturing machines, in test benches, or for production monitoring. Unlike standard signal conditioners, ClipX does not need a separate head module to process information directly.

Guaranteed accuracy in harsh environments

The Plug and Play principle allows the user to plug up to six devices simultaneously in a modular setup and calculate the measured data in advance. ClipX offers all the latest automation interfaces to integrate the unit perfectly into comprehensive control concepts. Its intuitive web interface enables remote operation, parameterization, and diagnosis.

Measurement inputs of this interference-proof signal conditioner include full-bridge and half-bridge strain gauges, a piezo-resistive transducer, a potentiometer, Pt100m, current, and voltage. Its interfaces include PROFINET, EtherCAT, PROFIBUS, Ethernet/IP, analog, digital-I/O, and Ethernet. ClipX is also compatible with Industry 4.0, with remote diagnosis, health monitoring, and web integration.

ClipX provides quick, digital signal conditioning for force sensors, load cells, torque sensors, and pressure transducers, plus temperature and standardized signals. It provides guaranteed measurement accuracy, even in harsh environments with electrical interference. The sensors can be operated as intrinsically safe devices in potentially explosive atmospheres in combination with the SD01A Zener barrier.
