The Gen4 ion air cannon incorporates the patented EXAIR Super Air Amplifier, which minimizes compressed-air use by inducing surrounding airflow at a ratio of 22-to-one. The unique amplified airflow carries the ions to the target, giving the device the ability to eliminate static charges in less than ½ a second. Users can infinitely control the air volume and velocity from a “breeze” to a “blast”.

This EXAIR solution has undergone independent laboratory tests to make sure that it complies with the strict health, safety, and environmental standards of Canada, the United States, and the European Union. The EXAIR Gen4 ion air cannon is approved by Underwriters’ Laboratories and has the CE mark, for example, and it also meets the RoHS requirements.
