Vaetrix redefines precision: ETG-10, ETG-25 digital gauges offer unmatched accuracy

Chevrier carries digital process gauges by Vaetrix.

Vaetrix measurement solutions are available from Chevrier Instruments Inc., including the ETG-10 and ETG-25 digital process gauges. The manufacturer has been designing and developing pressure gauges for the oil and gas sector for nearly half a century, and all these devices are constructed to last for many years.

High accuracy, data logging, dual-pressure technology, alarms, and more than 1,000 hours of typical use on 3AA alkaline batteries are among the features of the ETG-10 and ETG-25.

With built-in barometric sensor

Each of these digital process gauges offers 1/10 or ¼ per cent full-scale pressure accuracy, including all effects of linearity, hysteresis, repeatability, temperature, and stability based on a year. Among the other features are data logging of up to 64,000 readings with data-management software, dual-pressure technology with a built-in barometric sensor that lets users run the instrument in gauge or absolute mode, high and low alarms with icon notification and a red back-light warning, a true graphics display with easy-to-read menus, and a snapshot feature to capture pressure readings with date and time.

Customers have a Bluetooth option with the Vaetrix e-mobile application (remote gauge) for monitoring pressure values, and an intrinsically safe mode can be added to any gauge with the EX option. Technical specifications of these solutions from Chevrier:

• ASME B40.7 Grade 4A or 3AR certification, up to 30,000 pounds per square inch
• full-scale barometric accuracy of 0.35 per cent
• temperature option accuracy of plus or minus one degree Celsius
• operating temperature range from -10 to 50 degrees Celsius
• storage temperature range from -23 to 65 Celsius
• update rate of four readings per second
• process connection of ¼ of an inch MNPT, 20K-HF6 Autoclave
• optional BLE low energy, registered under FCC: WAP2001

The ETG-10 and ETG-25 are intrinsically safe devices, recommended for use in Optional Class I, Division, Groups B, C, and D environments in North America. Each model comes with a Quick Start guide, an NIST certificate with data, an AC to USB power adapter, and a four-year warranty. Many pressure ranges are available.
