The Fluke Ti300 thermal camera

Fluke test and measurement solutions are available in Canada through Chevrier Instruments Inc., including the Ti300+ thermal imager. This device is designed to help industrial maintenance teams identify issues before they escalate into fully formed problems. It uses LaserSharp AutoFocus to make sure the user gets focused images every single time.

The Ti300+ has the resolution and accuracy required to reveal temperature differentials clearly and to demonstrate progressive heat changes over time.

Manual and automatic focus

A unique blend of communication skills, industry expertise, and technical knowledge is necessary to lead a maintenance team. Implementing standard work and a preventive-maintenance program is good for business, but also aligns the team with the common goal of keeping a facility running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Using the appropriate tools, like the Fluke Ti300+ from Chevrier, can make a substantial difference in the success or failure of these kinds of programs.

Operators can use the built-in laser distance meter on this thermal imager to calculate and display the distance to a designated target on the camera screen and capture the image in focus – all with the touch of a button. And temperature readings from images in focus will be highly accurate. This way, maintenance teams can get clear images while also maintaining safe distances from the operation equipment.

A team must know its equipment and understand the subtle different between normal and abnormal operating temperatures to illustrate an issue with thermal images. Also necessary is confidence in the team’s ability to capture accurate thermal images. With this instrument by Fluke, taking these images is fast and easy. The Ti300+ is rugged enough to capture high-quality infrared images, even after a worker drops it (from a height of no more than two metres).

Other key features of this innovative Fluke thermal imager include 320-by-240 resolution, automatic and manual focus, and an operating temperature range from -20 to 650 degrees Celsius. The instrument is subject to export control as well, and it has an infrared resolution of 76,800 pixels and a ruggedized, 3½-inch (landscape) touchscreen display with a 640-by-480 LCD.
