The ETG-05 digital calibration gauge
Vaetrix has been designing and manufacturing pressure gauge solutions for the oil and gas sector for nearly half a century, and these products are available in Canada through Chevrier Instruments Inc. A key example is the ETG-05 digital calibration gauge, which offers high levels of accuracy for pressure readings.
Like all Vaetrix instruments, the ETG-05 digital calibration gauge is manufactured in the United States with high durability, built to withstand the test of time.
Stores up to 64,000 readings
Among the features offered by the ETG-05: dedicated menus, to view live readings for leak testing and minimum/maximum values; Data Management Software, which enables data logging of up to 64,000 readings; dual-pressure technology, with a built-in barometric sensor that allows the user to run in gauge or absolute mode; and high and low alarms, with icon notification and red backlight warning.
The device also has a true graphics display with true type font and easy-to-read menus, plus a Bluetooth option with the Vaetrix E-Mobile Application (remote gauge) for pressure monitoring. The snapshot feature captures pressure readings complete with date and time, while the lock/unlock feature restricts engineering units and menu items. Three AA alkaline batteries supply about 1,000 hours of typical use. The ETG-05 has achieved ASME B40.7 Grade 5A accuracy.
Other features include a Quick Start Guide, an NIST certificate with data, an AC-to-USB power adapter, and a four-year warranty. Technical specifications of this innovative instrument from the Chevrier lineup:
The ETG-05 is deemed intrinsically safe for Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C, and D environments in North America. It also works with the Vaetrix Hydro Test mobile app, a Bluetooth option that allows the user to see live pressure and to set alarms to monitor the test window pressure. Tapping the graph feature brings up a live trending graph, as data is stored on the gauge for a permanent record with Hydro Test Management software. The app is compatible with both Android and Apple phones.
