Many of these products are engineered and built by ELS with other products sourced from reliable and trusted vendors. The company’s on-staff licenced professional engineers have experience in a broad range of fields such as structural, mechanical and electrical engineering. These engineers also certify ELS design solutions to comply with all current applicable regulatory codes and established engineering standards for mechanical, electrical and structural elements.

In addition, ELS employs trained staff to perform manufacturing and installation of equipment. Welding is done by CWB certified welders; electrical is done by licensed electricians. Work is done in accordance with the Canadian Welding Bureau CSA Standard W47.1. The Electrical Safety Authority inspects all equipment after it has been manufactured.

The employee work practices at ELS comply with the requirements of the Ontario Health & Safety Act, the provincial Department of Labour, and WHMIS. The company is also insured through the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board for manufacturing, construction, millwright, and rigging, and by private insurers for engineers’ professional liability, general liability and accident coverage.
