Modular design

The STT850 can replace virtually any transmitter available today, in all types of environments, thanks to its modular design. This feature increases the transmitter’s flexibility, allowing it to meet a wider variety of customer needs. The unit features interchangeable modules consisting of common and easy-to-upgrade parts, which means customers can carry a lower inventory of parts and easily repair it, rather than replacing it. This modularity improves the efficiency of maintenance organizations and reduces process downtimes during maintenance activities. 

Additional features

The SmartLine STT850 temperature transmitter offers a more accurate and stable option over other transmitters.​​​​ It features digital accuracy up to 0.1 degrees C for RTD, and stability up to 0.01 per cent of URL per year for 10 years.

The optional advanced display allows users to configure the screen to a format that suits their application. And its three-button design reduces configuration time, which reduces startup time and, as a result, project costs. The advanced display also offers sensor health details thanks to its comprehensive onboard diagnostic capabilities.

Transmitter messaging posts messages on the integral display without the need for a hand-held or other host device providing increased safety and significant savings in time. For example, you can quickly identify the right device to be maintained and provide an indication of action required.

Additional features include polarity insensitivity, dual input and digital output. The unit also comes with an optional 15-year warranty.
