The Wilden Pro-Flo SHIFT series of AODD pumps
Wilden fluid-handling products are available via John Brooks Company Limited, including the Pro-Flo SHIFT series of air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps. This line is part of a new generation of air-distribution systems developed to prevent overfilling in AODD-pump operation, by restricting airflow into the air chamber. Key benefits of these pumps include lower cost of ownership, easier maintenance, and up to 60 per cent in air savings without any change in flow rate.
Maximum productivity with lower expenses
These pumps are recommended for chemicals, paint and coatings, mining, oil and gas, water and wastewater treatment, liquid terminals, and processing. The Pro-Flo SHIFT series is perfect for customers who want to maximize productivity while lowering expenses. Innovative but simple, each unit has an air-control spool that optimizes air consumption automatically and prevents overfilling of the air chamber with no reduction in flow rate – resulting in energy savings and less repairs required.
Like all Wilden AODD pumps, these are reciprocating, positive-displacement-style units driven by compressed air, and they operate with a unique working principle. This design makes the Pro-Flo SHIFT series ideal for a broad range of scenarios. Among their features and advantages:
Comprising 14 models, the Pro-Flo SHIFT series varies in terms of design, material, and size. The John Brooks Company team carries four basic designs of these AODD pumps – bolted metal, clamped metal, bolted plastic, and clamped plastic. All four of these models come in a 1½-inch or two-inch size, and the three-inch Pro-Flo SHIFT unit is available in bolted or clamped metal and bolted plastic. The clamped metal version is also available in a ½-inch and four-inch size, and the bolted metal model also comes in a one-inch size.
Finally, these pumps are superior to other pump models in terms of shear sensitivity, dry-run capability, solids passage, maintenance expenses, and submersible operation.
