The drill has a stronger, stiffer, more ergonomic housing, plus a pilot light for dim or no light and a two-stage magnet with 30 per cent more power when switched on.

Other relatively new features of this mag drill include a slot drive arbour for higher accuracy and faster change-out of accessories, plus a swivel base that allows users to line up pilots precisely with the holes’ centre locations. All of these improvements have boosted the HMD904’s versatility even further.
