Mod-Tronic offers many MINCO temperature sensors.

MINCO industrial test and measurement solutions are available in Canada through Mod-Tronic Instruments Ltd., which takes pride in its status as the world’s largest stocking distributor of MINCO products. The vast inventory includes several kinds of top-notch temperature sensors, which come in such forms as thermocouples, thermistors, and resistance temperature detectors (RTDs).

These temperature sensors are devices designed to conduct temperature measurement through electric signals, to meet the needs of original-equipment manufacturers and other end users.

Assemblies, accessories, and more

Mod-Tronic carries the following variations of MINCO temperature sensors:

  • RTD and thermocouple assemblies. These standard, easy-to-order assemblies for RTDs, thermocouples, and transmitters are compatible with various applications. They are approved by CSA Group, ATEX, and other safety-standard bodies.
  • RTD and thermocouple probes. With single and dual elements, these probes are available as tip-sensitive with copper tips, all-stainless, or mineral-insulated for different temperatures.
  • RTD and thermocouple sensor accessories. With stainless steel and brass compression fittings, spring-loaded holders, thermowells, and connection heads.
  • RTD and thermocouple mini bearing embedment sensors. Small, rugged RTDs and thermocouples to install in bearings for early overheating warnings. Single or dual elements; bearing embedment or surface-mount, bolt-on designs.
  • Stator winding RTDs and thermocouples. These instruments comply with the ANSI C50.10-1990 specification, necessary for synchronous motors. Mod-Tronic recommends six sensors for each motor, two per phase.
  • Thermal-ribbon flexible RTDs and thermocouples. Thin, flexible surface-mount RTDs and thermocouples with kapton, silicone rubber, and Mylar insulation. Response as quick as 1/10 of a second.
  • Bolt-on temperature sensors. These devices are developed for simple installation in industrial and commercial environments. Users can mount them on machines, against process pipes, or embedded right onto a machined part.
  • HVAC/R sensors. RTDs, thermistors, and transmitters for room air, outdoor air, ducts, and liquids. RTDs made of platinum and nickel iron.
  • RTD elements. Inexpensive thin-film and wire-wound elements, with accurate temperature sensing from -200 to 850 degrees Celsius.

The Mod-Tronic team also offers various humidity sensors and transmitters in its sensor inventory, each with an electrical transmission output for remote humidity indication.
