Chevrier Instruments Inc. supplies a wide range of industrial test and measurement solutions, like the Easidew Online hygrometer by Michell Instruments, as well as an advanced model. A device for measuring dew-point and moisture content for many moisture applications, it has a configurable display and is easy to install and maintain.

Compatible with the full Easidew transmitter range, the Easidew Online hygrometer is designed to provide both local readings and re-transmitted control signals.

The display on the Easidew offers analog, digital, and dual relay alarm outputs. Other features and advantages include a measurement range from -100 to 20 degrees Celsius at the dew point, accuracy of plus or minus two degrees Celsius at the dew point, output of four to 20 mA, dual configurable alarm outputs, Modbus RTU over RS485 output, and a traceable 13-point calibration certificate. A sample block and cable are included, and the customer gets a choice of an AC or DC power supply.

The Easidew Advanced Online hygrometer is a moisture-measurement online dew-point meter with pressure compensation, with high-performance, one per cent accuracy for use in compressed-air and gas-generation applications. Also available from Chevrier, this versatile touchscreen model is simple to install and configure and can measure and display dew point, moisture content, and pressure. The Advanced version has a display that offers analog, digital, and four programmable relay alarm outputs with a front screen or software app display configuration.

Like the standard Easidew model, the Advanced Online hygrometer offers Modbus RTU over RS485 output, a choice of an AC or DC power supply, sample block and cable included, and a traceable 13-point calibration certificate. Its measurement range is from -110 to 20 degrees Celsius at dew point, with accuracy of plus of minus one degree Celsius at dew point; other features include pressure indication and compensation, touchscreen reconfiguration, three 4…20-mA outputs, and four relay outputs.

Both of these Easidew models offer the same dry-to-wet response time of five minutes to T95, as well as the same repeatability of ½ a degree Celsius at dew point.
