The Sauermann KCC 320 IAQ data logger

Sauermann’s broad line of monitoring and measuring solutions is available to Canadian customers from Chevrier Instruments Inc., including the innovative KCC 320 indoor air-quality (IAQ) data logger. This device is the perfect option for accurate measurement of up to four recordable parameters at the same time, all with a wireless connection.

The KCC 320 IAQ data logger is recommended highly by the manufacturer and distributor for industrial measurement of carbon dioxide, humidity, temperature, and atmospheric pressure.

With extremely large storage capacity

This instrument has a wireless connection for Smartphones and tablets, both Android and iOS, and it includes an extremely large storage capacity of two million points. Other key features include a large two-line LCD screen and free downloadable basic software, and Chevrier supplies the KCC 320 with an anti-theft wall mount, complete with lock. Among the technical specifications:

  • Frequency of measurements: minimum 15 seconds, maximum 24 hours
  • Units of measurement: degrees Celsius, degrees Fahrenheit, parts per million, percentage of relative humidity, hectopascals
  • Alarms: two configurable setpoint alarms
  • Displays: two-line display
  • IP protection: IP 40
  • Battery life: two years
  • Standards: UKCA, 2011/65/EU RoHS II, 2012/19/EU WEEE, 2014/30/EU EMC, 2014/35/EU low voltage
  • Power supply: two lithium AA 3.6-volt batteries
  • Sensors: internal sensors
  • Magnetized case: included
  • Securable mounting: wall bracket and lock included

The data logger can record in five different ways – immediate, minimum, maximum, average, and loop. The KCC 320 also has four types of dataset start: once a recording mode has been set, the user can lauch the dataset with a delayed start (with predefined date and time), with the software, with a button, or with an online option. In the last case, the datasets are directly sent, saved, and displayed on a PC in real time. In addition, the dataset can be stopped according to a date and time, according to a period, according to a predefined number of recording points, once the storage capacity is full, with the software’s “stop” option, or by holding the “OK” key for five seconds if previously activated.
