Hi-Tech Duravent unveils ultra light duty hose

Hi-Tech Duravent has added a new ultra light duty flexible hose — the ULD — to its lineup of flexible hose and ducting products. 

Constructed of polyurethane reinforced with bronzed wire helix, ULD is abrasion, moisture and UV-resistant, highly flexible and highly compressible. One key feature of the hose is that it’s transparent, so that users can easily locate any blockages.

ULD is available in 25- and 50-foot lengths, and diameters of two, three, four, five and six inches. With a temperature range of -65 to 200 degrees F, ULD is ideal for use in the woodworking, metal fabrication, insulation blowing/removal, powder paint recovery, and food and beverage industries. Applications include material handling, chip collection, dust collection, chemical fume evacuation, general purpose fume evacuation, oil mist collection and air movement/handling.
