HBM data recorder makes data acquisition easy and convenient

The SomatXR CX23-R rugged data recorder, from HBM, gives users the ability to acquire and analyze data whenever — and wherever — thanks to a secure web-based user interface that provides direct access to measurement data.

The CX23-R data recorder is the central module of the rugged SomatXR family. It synchronizes all connected measurement modules with Ethernet PTPv2 and stores recorded measurement data. It also provides computed channels and smart data compression using Somat DataModes, a technology that gives time history, burst history and Time-at-Level (one-dimensional). The SIE file format is used to assure data integrity and to enable configuration parameters to be retrieved. 

CX23-R’s web interface allows for simple operation without software installation. It provides convenient channel parameterization, monitoring of measurement jobs and visualization of measured data far from the measuring point. 

SomatXR CX23-R is available with an internal memory of 16 or 64 GB. Other features include: DIO interface with three digital inputs and two digital outputs; GPS interface for connecting a GPS receiver; three CAN interfaces (ISO 11898, CAN 2.0A and 2.0B); two Ethernet ports for connection to other SomatXR modules; and an Ethernet host port for connecting to a PC with an up-to-date web browser. It is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof, and can operate in temperatures from – 40 to 80 degrees C. 

All of these features, together, result in a flexible, modular and scalable recorder.
