For 30 years, Endress+Hauser has served Canada with process-automation solutions

Incorporated in May 1990, Endress+Hauser celebrates 30 years of serving Canadians.

Endress+Hauser Canada Ltd. is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. That is three decades of building strong relationships with manufacturers, by serving them with top process-automation solutions. When the company was incorporated in 1990, it opened offices in Burlington, Ont. and Montreal; now, Endress+Hauser also has offices in Calgary and Edmonton, including a giant Customer Support Centre in Edmonton – and construction on a new Customer Experience Centre in Burlington is slated to begin soon.

Hands-on experience and training

In 1990, the company had only 13 employees. Today, as Endress+Hauser observes 30 years of business in Canada, it boasts more than 140 workers, including sales coverage for the whole country. This time span has seen extraordinary achievements that have put the company in a position to come up with even more innovative process-automation solutions in the future. Endress+Hauser has an unmatched lineup of products that will keep manufacturers on the cutting edge for years, as it supports customers through project timelines and product life cycles that are second to none.

Thirty years ago, the company focused on the water, wastewater, food-processing, and mining industries in Ontario and Quebec. Now, Endress+Hauser covers all industries all over Canada, including oil and gas and petrochemicals, with technical representatives at strategic locations. A new, national network of Authorized Service Partners employs trained, certified technicians that offer timely service and advice where required.

The company’s range of services has also expanded in 30 years – from providing measurement products, repair, and field services to working closely with customers throughout the process, from the engineering stage through project management, startup, and commissioning to maintenance and calibration to keep these process-automation solutions precise and accurate.

Endress+Hauser has expanded its product portfolio dramatically too: its lineup now includes analytical technology for flow, level, pressure, temperature, liquid, and gas, plus laboratory automation solutions. The company delivers complete solutions for measurement needs; customers do not just buy instruments – they also acquire information about critical processes.
