Electeo by Festo revolutionizes electronics training for the next generation

Festo Canada recently launched a new web-based electronics training system, Electeo, designed to streamline and enhance electronic-skills development in universities and vocational or technical institutions. This innovative learning solution is a turnkey system for achieving a modern electronics laboratory with online tools, compatible with numerous devices and operating systems.

With several courses already available from Festo Didactic, Electeo supports electronic concepts in many fields, including mechatronics, automation, and instrumentation and control.

As the electronics industry evolves towards a software-oriented landscape, a fresh approach is necessary for training and education; Industry 4.0 and communication technology have spurred smaller, more efficient, interconnected devices and systems. For a fully online solution, Electeo can be used in combination with Festo LX to reach its complete potential. With digital courses, teachers create, plan, and assign courses while tracking and reporting on student progress. FluidSIM 365 will soon be available from the interface of Festo LX for a total digital solution, complete with online simulation of electrical circuits.
