Smoke shelters from Canadian Portable Structures (CPS) are modular shelters used outside to provide basic protection from wind, rain, sleet and snow. The structures are easy to install and maintain, and feature many options.

Features and options

A basic shelter includes a roof and walls, and stands eight feet, three inches tall. Standard sizes range from four feet by eight feet, to eight feet by 20 feet.

The frame includes panelized non-combustible extruded aluminum members and a clear satin coat anodized frame finish. The roof is constructed of insulated sandwich roof panels and rigid foam insulation, while the glass is four-millimetre tempered safety glass.

The smoke shelter is manufactured ready to install on an already prepared surface — a concrete base or optional floor module. It can be supplied in a modular kit form for easy installation by the customer, or it can be constructed onsite by a CPS installation crew.

The shelter’s components are easy to clean, resistant to vandalism, and have a long maintenance-free life.

Additional options include special glazing, benches, floor, tinted glazing, customized sizes and more.
