Measurement Specialties is known across the globe as a leading designer and manufacturer of superior quality sensors and sensor-based systems. Its modular M5600 wireless pressure transducer is no exception. Available in Canada from Durham Instruments, this 24-bit ADC digital output wireless transducer has many best-in-class features and advantages that make it a top choice for tough industrial applications.

Features and benefits

The M5600 wireless pressure transducer does not require any hard wiring, is compact, and provides remote process control and monitoring via Bluetooth technology. The wetted material of the pressure port is made of either 17-4 PH or 316L stainless steel, and the transducer’s durability is excellent with no o-rings, welds or organics exposed to the pressure media. In addition, the unit is weatherproof and exceeds the latest heavy industrial CE requirements. It can operate in temperatures from -20 to 85 degrees C, and offers pressure accuracy of ±0.25 per cent.

These features and more make it ideal for the measurement of liquid or gas pressure, even for difficult media such as contaminated water, steam and mildly corrosive fluids. The product, geared to the OEM customer for mid to high volumes, is also suitable for industrial process control and monitoring, advanced HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, automotive test stands, off-road vehicles, pumps and compressors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, agriculture equipment, and energy generation and management.

Availability

Durham Instruments is proud to count Measurement Specialties’ M5600 wireless pressure transducer as part of its comprehensive portfolio of measuring instruments. Based in Pickering, Ont., the leading distributor prides itself on being a single source for its customers’ quantitative measuring needs. In addition to pressure transducers, the company also carries accelerometers, meters, encoders, sensors, transmitters and more from Measurement Specialties and a wide range of other leading manufacturers.
