Thermal imagers, line scanners by AMETEK Land.

Thermo-Kinetics Company Limited carries innovative test and measurement solutions by AMETEK Land, including various thermal imagers and line scanners. These devices set the industry standard for performance as they offer the high-resolution thermal data that businesses need to keep their processes running safely and efficiently, backed by advanced software support.

Customers can choose from among three types of technology in this product lineup: fixed stationary thermal imagers; fixed furnace thermal imagers; and line scanners and systems.

Constant, 24-7 temperature measurement

AMETEK Land fixed stationary thermal imagers work for various applications and industrial markets, ranging from heavy industry to research and development. Three models of fixed stationary thermal imagers are available from Thermo-Kinetics to meet various process needs: the LWIR-640, the MWIR-640 390, and the NIR-656 or NIR-2K.

The LWIR-640 is a long-wavelength thermal imager with a full temperature-measurement range from -20 to 1,000 degrees Celsius, in three ranges with different options for optics and lenses. The MWIR-640 390 is a smart mid-wavelength unit with a measurement range from 300 to 1,800 degrees Celsius, in two ranges with various optics and lenses.

The NIR-656 and NIR-2K are high-precision devices for high-temperature measurement in many applications. The NIR-2K is a high-resolution camera with full radiometric calibration with up to three million camera pixels that offer highly accurate temperature readings transmitted through a high-speed digital connection. Recommended for heating, hot rolling, heat treatment, continuous casting, welding, and more.

AMETEK Land’s high-quality furnace borescope cameras and systems allow constant, 24-7 temperature measurement, monitoring, and process control in furnaces. Users get thermal data that extend furnace lives, continuously control the process, and lower energy consumption and emission. Thermo-Kinetics carries five types of fixed furnace thermal imagers: the MWIR-Borescope-640, the NIR-Borescope-640, the NIR-Borescope-640-EX, the NIR-Borescope-656, and the NIR-Borescope-2K.

The supplier also carries a portable furnace thermal-imaging system, an accessory kit for use with the NIR-B/MWIR-B range of borescope cameras. This solution works for TMT measurement, regular furnace inspections, and surveys, and it supports onsite monitoring and analysis to prolong furnace and tube lifetimes, optimize burner efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and improve profitability.

The MWIR-Borescope-640 is a highly accurate radiometric infrared camera with spectral filtering for constant temperature measurement and furnace profiling. The other fixed furnace thermal imagers are short-wavelength radiometric infrared cameras for varying applications; the NIR-Borescope-640-EX is recommended for steam reformers and cracker tubes, for example.

The AMETEK Land line of compact infrared line scanners and systems creates highly accurate thermal images of moving processes, using unsurpassed high-speed scanning to deliver essential temperature data for safety and process control. This lineup includes the LSP-HD line scanner, HotSpotIR conveyor belts, and tempering furnaces.
