John Brooks Company Limited  is pleased to announce that they are now the sole authorized stocking distributor for CECO Fybroc Pumps and Parts in the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. CECO Fybroc has the flexibility in materials selection to solve your difficult corrosive or abrasive pump problems.

• VR-1, vinyl ester resin: used for the vast majority of corrosive applications, including most acids, caustics, brines, sea water, and wastewater.
• VR-1 BPO-DMA, vinyl ester resin with BPO-DMA cure system: used to accommodate applications for specific corrosion resistance to bleaches, such as sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) and hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂).
• VR-1A, vinyl ester resin with abrasive resistant material: used for pumping liquids with low concentration highly abrasive fines, such as fly ash, diatomaceous earth, or titanium dioxide. ¥ VR-1V, vinyl ester resin with synthetic veil: protection used specifically for fluoridic applications, such as hydrofluoric acid (HF) and fluosilicic acid (H2SiF6).
• EY-2, epoxy resin: offers outstanding chemical resistance for aggressive chemical/compounds, acids, and solvents. Ideal for high concentrations of sulfuric acid (up to 98 per cent).

Primary Products and Solutions

There are five categories of CECO Fybroc pumps available from John Brooks Company.

Four series of horizontal pumps, all recommended for numerous industries, including aquaculture, chemicals, utilities, electronics, pulp and paper, and wastewater.

• The 1500 Series of Horizontal ANSI Pumps is manufactured for broad corrosion resistance with high-quality materials and innovative engineering.
• The 1530 Series comprises Close-Coupled Pumps serves as lightweight, space-efficient solutions with high structural integrity.
• The 2858 Series of ISO Standard Pumps is engineered with premium materials for high performance and durability.
• The 3000 Series of recessed-impeller pumps is custom-designed for smooth flow in heavy-duty tasks.

Two lines of CECO Fybroc magnetic drive pumps are also available. These pumps are recommended for automotive, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, paper, and wastewater applications and more. Also available is the 8500 series vertical turbine pumps, which is ideal for brackish water reverse osmosis, brine, re-circulation and transfer, and seawater intake.

• The 2530 series of close-coupled pumps, and
• The 2630 series of self-priming close-coupled pumps.

Two series of self-priming CECO Fybroc pumps, both engineered with fibreglass-reinforced vinyl ester resin components for corrosion resistance and suitable for the automotive, chemical, food-processing, metal-finishing, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, transportation, and water and wastewater sectors.

• The 1600 series of standard units, and
• The 1630 series of close-coupled pumps.

Finally, CECO Fybroc vertical cantilever sump pumps, in four series, all work for numerous industries.
