Each of these portable dust collectors is an economical solution that delivers high performance in conjunction with high convenience. They are efficient units that sit on heavy-duty casters for easy movement, designed specifically to handle one or multiple machines located close to each other. The MRX series is perfectly suited for saws or other machines that work with low material volumes and relatively large particle sizes; they are also ideal for workspaces with low headroom, since they require a ceiling height of eight feet and take up little floor space. These devices are also recommended for connection to machines in remote locations.

Two models of these portable dust collectors are available from N.R. Murphy. Both of these models come as two- or four-bag units, which can be assembled and installed quickly and easily. The MRX-5 includes a five-inch fan inlet diameter and a two-horsepower motor. It can deliver 771 cubic feet per minute at 5,650 feet per minute. The other design, the MRX-7, comes with a seven-inch fan inlet diameter and a three-horsepower motor, and it can deliver 1,443 cubic feet per minute at 5,400 feet per minute. N.R. Murphy also offers various voltages, depending on the specific customer application.
