The new URCaps plugin promises a seamless and quick integration of any Asyril Asycube feeder in conjunction with any UR cobot product. The control menus are directly accessible from the teach pendant, which makes the plugin easy to use and implement. This development advances Asyril further into the world of collaborative robots and denotes a new phase in the company’s long-term partnership with UR.

The Asycube is a three-axis vibration robotic parts feeder that offers pre-orientation and maximum surface distribution. Asyril produces four different models of Asycube feeding systems, which can feed components of any shape, material, or size from less than one millimetre to 15 centimetres. These feeders are recommended for applications in which parts are being delivered in bulk and have to be presented to the cobot one at a time. Relevant tasks include pick-and-place applications, machine tending, assembly, CNC machining, and packaging and palletizing.
