POSITAL-FRABA, based in Hamilton New Jersey, is the North American member of the international FRABA Group, a family of enterprises focused on providing advanced products for position sensing and motion control. Key products include rotary encoders, inclinometers (tilt sensors) and linear position sensors.  POSITAL sensors incorporate advanced sensing and signal processing techniques that deliver accurate measuring performance, durability, versatility and cost efficiency.

POSITAL’s sensors are built around a highly modular design that makes it possible to offer an extraordinarily wide range of mechanical, electrical and measurement options, built-to-order, based on a set of common core technologies. Moreover, some models are programmable, so that the performance characteristics can be readily modified in the field to meet local requirements. The result? A wide range of available communications interfaces – including analog, serial (SSI), CANopen, DeviceNet and industrial Ethernet – make it easy to integrate these instruments into simple or complex motion control systems.
