Essentra, an abstract name, was specifically chosen to capture what each of our businesses, including Alliance, Reid Supply and Richco, manufactures and supplies; namely millions of small but essential components which often play a critical enabling role in the products of our customers, everywhere and every day.
As part of its Vision 2015 strategy, Essentra is rebranding our components distribution businesses under one name, Essentra Components. For the Americas, we are combining the outstanding products and services of three companies into one:
Alliance (www.alliance-express.com) – Manufactures and distributes excellent products like access hardware, casters, leveling mounts, bumpers and feet, tube insert glides and caps, wire management, cable ties, circuit board hardware, fasteners, masking, pipe and flange, caps, plugs and netting, and hose protection.
Reid Supply (www.reidsupply.com) – Industrial distributor of a wide range of products including knobs, handles and hand wheels, clamps and workholding, tooling components, fasteners and hardware, leveling devices and vibration control, material handling, bearings and power transmission, metalworking, tools, maintenance and shop supplies, pneumatics and hydraulics, structural systems and safety.
Richco (www.richco-inc.com) – Manufactures and distributes engineered components including circuit board hardware, card guides and pullers, rivets, screws, washers and nuts, motion control, bumpers and feet, fan accessories, LED hardware, insulators, cable ties and accessories, cable management, fiber management, grommets, bushings, plugs and cable glands, and leveling mounts, tube inserts and casters.
