Manufactures thermally conductive plastics and heat transfer solutions. Cool Polymers’ family of thermally conductive plastics known as CoolPoly are available in a variety of base resins and ranges in thermal conductivity from 2 W/mK (similar to glass) to 100 W/mK (similar to cast aluminum).
Cool Polymers supplies either thermally conductive plastic resins (pellets) and/or injection molded parts produced from these resins. In support of customer programs, Cool Polymers also assists in the design, modeling, testing, prototyping and tooling of applications requiring thermally conductive plastics.
Cool Polymers is part of 50 year organization that has produced specialty metallic handles and heat sinks for the electronics and other industries. Cool Polymers, Inc. was formed as a separate corporation on January 1, 2000 to concentrate on the manufacture of thermally conductive plastic resins and molded parts.
