The modular M5600 wireless pressure transducer from Measurement Specialties is the ideal solution for industrial process control and monitoring applications, and many other demanding applications that require a solution that exceeds the latest heavy industrial CE requirements. Enclosed in a compact, stainless steel and polycarbonate housing, the weatherproof transducer can even handle difficult media such as contaminated water, steam and mildly corrosive fluids.
Best-in-class features
The M5600, part of the company’s Microfused line, is a 24-bit ADC digital output transducer. The fact that it is wireless means that hard wiring is eliminated, and remote process control and monitoring is possible thanks to the system’s Bluetooth technology.
This series is suitable for the measurement of liquid or gas pressure thanks to its durable design. The wetted material of the pressure port is made of either 17-4 PH or 316L stainless steel, and the unit doesn’t have any o-rings, welds or organics exposed to the pressure media. The transducer is capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -20 to 85 degrees C.
Versatile
The M5600 wireless pressure transducer is geared towards the OEM customer working with mid to high volumes in a wide range of applications. It is suitable for use with advanced HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, automotive test stands, off-road vehicles, pumps and compressors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, agriculture equipment, energy generation and management, as well as many industrial process control and monitoring applications.
Availability
The M5600 is available in Canada from Pickering, Ont.-based Durham Instruments. With a wide selection of measurement instruments from leading manufacturers, Durham Instruments is the ideal source for all quantitative measuring needs.
