A large variety of piezoelectric-based accelerometers from Measurement Specialties are available from Durham Instruments. The selection includes a range of high temperature, high performance, internally shielded and compact models.

High temperature accelerometers

Model 7132AHT is a high temperature miniature triaxial IEPE accelerometer that is available in ±50 to ±500g dynamic ranges. It features a hermetically sealed titanium construction with a four-pin Microtech connector interface, and is suitable for use in vibration and shock monitoring applications, laboratory testing, high-temperature testing, automotive testing and more.

Model 7202A, on the other hand, is a case-isolated high temperature IEPE accelerometer with internal shielding. It is available in ±50 to ±500g ranges, and has an operating temperature range up to 130 degrees C. The unit is hermetically sealed and features an integral strain relief with a Teflon jacketed cable. It is ideal for health monitoring systems, machinery monitoring, gearbox vibration monitoring, high frequency applications and harsh environments.

High performance accelerometers

Model 7100A is a high performance, hermetically sealed IEPE accelerometer with an operating temperature range of -55 to 150 degrees C. It is available in ±50 to ±500g ranges, and provides a flat frequency response up to 15kHz. In addition, Model 7100A features the popular through-hole mount installation for use with standard mounting screws. It is ideal for use in such applications as vibration and shock monitoring, flight testing, high temperature IEPE applications and more.

Miniature accelerometers

Model 7101A is a miniature IEPE accelerometer that is available in ±50 to ±500g dynamic ranges. This lightweight unit (only 2.4 grams) is designed for high frequency vibration and shock measurements, and features a hermetically sealed titanium housing, as well as the popular through-hole mount configuration. The standard operating temperature range extends from -55 to 125 degrees C.

Durham Instruments also carries the company’s miniature adhesive mount IEPE accelerometers (Models 7102A and 7108A), and its miniature stud mount IEPE shock accelerometer (Model 7109A).
