Wide range of rubber suspension units available from Rosta

Rosta manufactures more than 2,000 customer-specific special rubber suspension units for the machine industries — from the smallest production runs in welded construction up to large volumes for the automotive industry, in sintered metal construction or precision moulding.

Units are available with different housings and inner squares to meet specific customer needs. Here’s a quick guide:

• The first two letters in the model name represent the housing type. 

DR models have a steel tube housing.

DK, DO and DW models have a light metal profile. 

DW models are also available in nodular cast iron with steel welded construction. 

• The third letter in the model name represents the inner square.

“A” represents a light metal profile, from size 60 in steel.

“C” represents a light metal profile.

“S” represents a steel tube for plug-in connection. 

Type DO-A, for example, features housing up to size 45 made out of a light alloy profile, size 50 made out of spheroidal graphite cast iron, and an inner square section made out of a light alloy profile with four ”throughbores”. The levers can be mounted on one or both sides. All metal parts are paint-finished.

Type DK-A features round housing, an inner square section made of light alloy profiles, and an inner square section with four ”throughbores”. The lever arms can be bolted on and, if necessary, the bores can be tapped. All metal parts are paint-finished.

Type DK-S features round housing made of a light alloy profile, and an inner square section made out of a steel tube. The ”plug-in” lever arms can be mounted on one or both sides. All metal parts are paint-finished.

Type DR-A features steel housing with an inner square section made of light alloy with four small bores. Levers can be mounted on one or on both sides. All metal parts are paint-finished.
