Wecon Systems meeting the needs of a growing list of customers

Wecon Systems takes pride in generating guaranteed results for its customers. Since being founded back in 1997, the Mississauga, Ont.-based company has completed many projects for a growing list of satisfied customers. The company highlighted some of its latest work in a recent newsletter.

A repeat customer

Earlier this year, Wecon Systems completed the installation of a conveyor system for a new retail and distribution centre in Milton, Ont., that specializes in farm, industrial, automotive, tools and surplus products. The project used both new and used equipment. The customer was so happy with the service, that it awarded Wecon another project — the decommissioning of the system at its former facility.

The benefits of used equipment

The company recently installed a cross dock sortation system for a 3PL distributor based in Brampton, Ont. The system was comprised of a significant amount of used equipment. By incorporating used equipment in conjunction with the implementation of a new sorter, the customer realized significant savings in the cost of the system. In addition, there was savings in the day-to-day manpower requirements within the facility. 

“Customers continue to realize the benefits of incorporating used equipment into their projects, as it can be supplied in most cases quicker and at a fraction of the cost over new equipment,” Wecon explains. 

Another satisfied customer

Earlier this year, Wecon completed the installation of a carton flow, shelving and conveyor system at an ammunitions distribution facility in the Kawartha region of Ontario. The customer was extremely pleased with the pace of the installation and execution of the project.
