Four ways to protect product during shipping

Your company prides itself on quality, so you want to make sure when product leaves your facility, headed to the next destination along the supply chain, it arrives in the same condition it left. 

Special caps and plugs are one way to ensure protection throughout the shipping process. Here are four options:

1. Packaging caps have moulded rings on the interior to execute a perfect fit into the tube, and are ideal for cardboard mailing or packaging tubes. 

2. Shipping tube plugs are great for use in container tubes meant for packaging, shipping and mailing. They also have a narrow flange to make sure there is no over-hanging protection that may be caught on other tubes. 

3. There are a number of vinyl cap options, including some with a centre hanger tab, hanger tab, and anti-roll end caps. Caps with centre hanger tabs work well with tools that need to be hung, providing a tight fit so caps don’t fall off. Those with hanger tabs are round and have a hanger tip that sits to the side so that parts can hang down smoothly. Those with anti-roll end caps can be used to close the ends of tubing and contain a square head to prevent products from rolling around during shipping. 

4. End caps fit securely into tubing with a thumb tab for easy removal.
