EXAIR hosts a webinar on storage of compressed-air systems this Wednesday.

EXAIR Corporation is not only a top North American supplier of industrial compressed-air equipment; the company is also a renowned team of experts in these innovative solutions. On Wednesday, EXAIR shares its knowledge about managing compressed-air systems in a live webinar, Compressed Air System Management: Dedicated Storage Sizing, Location, and Usage Strategy.

Customers and other interested parties can tune in online to the webinar on April 19 from 2 to 3 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Develop an appropriate storage strategy

This webinar on secondary compressed-air storage strategies is perfect for businesses that seek to optimize their systems while saving on operating expenses. Viewers will learn how receiver tanks can prevent pressure changes from affecting other loads on the system and reduce startup of backup compressors. EXAIR experts will also illustrate how to develop an appropriate secondary storage strategy for a plant and calculate the required tank size. Attendees will gain a better understanding of how to use compressed air effectively and efficiently, according to their specific local site conditions.

As compressed-air systems are dynamic by nature, flow and pressure conditions are subject to often rapid changes at various times. Receiver tanks can stop these changes from affecting other loads on the system, while lowering operational costs by enabling lower compressor discharge pressure and limiting startups of backup compressors. The webinar has the following goals for every viewer:

  1. Understand the benefits of secondary/intermediate compressed-air storage;
  2. Gain knowledge of strategies to manage rate of change in a compressed-air system, by using proper storage solutions; and
  3. Learn how to calculate storage/receiver tank sizes.

Attendees of this webinar who have CAGI and CCASS certification will even receive a certificate of completion, as well as a PDH unit.
