Washdown hose offers durability for many environments

Parker’s ECW Economy White Washdown Hose is available in Canada from Wainbee. This flexible, lightweight, medium-pressure hose is ideal for handling hot water and mild chemicals, making it a top choice for many cleaning and washdown applications in breweries, food processing plants and more.

Many advantages

The washdown hose is constructed of multiple plies of textile reinforcement, which offers flexibility, while the hose’s white, non-marking cover offers resistance to abrasion, heat and ozone.

Hose details

The washdown hose is suitable for applications in temperatures from -40 to 100 degrees C (-40 to 212 degrees F). It is available in two models, both with an inside diameter of ¾ inches (19.1 millimetres), and an outside diameter of 1.156 inches (29.4 millimetres). The difference between the two is the weight and the length of the hoses.

Though these hoses are ideal for use in many food processing applications, as well as general industrial use, they are not recommended for use with fatty or oily foods, or for steam service.
