Walter Surface Technologies launches innovative instant polish line

There is a growing demand for high-quality mirrored surfaces in many industries. In an effort to meet this demand, Walter Surface Technologies has announced a new innovation to its portfolio of stainless steel polishing products — the Instant Polish Line. 

A one-step solution

The Instant Polish Line is proprietary to Walter Surface Technologies, and is the most innovative one-step solution to achieving a perfect #8 mirror finish, the company says. 

Stainless steel finishing and polishing is one of the most time-consuming and difficult applications in the fabrication process, but this new Instant Polish Line is designed to make it easier. The products combine the strength of Walter’s white and blue polishing pastes into an easy, one-step solution. The innovative products eliminate three to four steps in the polishing process, including the need to clean in between polishing steps, and reduces the frequency of consumable changeover.

The line will be available, as of January 2016, in three formats. These include: pre-applied on the Quick Step Instant Polish Disc; pre-applied on the Instant Polish Belt; and in a stand-alone paste.

The new polishing line was designed for industries like pharmaceutical, food and beverage, construction and design, where high-quality mirrored finishes are required.
