• AC drives: Wainbee’s offering includes Parker’s AC890PX variable frequency drive. This VFD is designed for AC motors between 150 and 600 horsepower. It is a standalone unit that includes all the equipment needed for either new or retrofit applications, including the fuses, braking, disconnect and line reactor. This unit is ideal for applications such as energy-saving pumps and fans, extruders, mixers, centrifuges, hoists and cranes, engine dynamometers, and hydraulic power units. Another example of an AC variable frequency drive is the AC890 Series. This is a compact and modular systems AC drive. It is designed to control both speed and position for AC induction or servo motor applications. It is suitable for motors up to 1500 horsepower. It can be used with a wide variety of feedback options, so it is compatible with any AC motor.
• DC drives: Also available are DC motor speed controllers such as the DC514C Series. These are analog four-quadrant DC drives that provide full four-quadrant control. As a result, they are ideal for applications with overhauling loads or that require rapid and accurate deceleration. Another solution for DC motors is the advanced DC590 Series. These four-quadrant variable speed drives can meet the demands of the most complex DC motor control applications due to features including configurable I/O, function block programming and extensive application software.
• Touchscreens: The Parker SSD Drives product selection also includes HMI touchscreens. The TS8000 HMI panels range in size from three- to 15-inch screens. They offer most of the same features available on PC-based SCADA systems. They can also be used as a bridge between devices that usually cannot communicate, as they are available with a range of fieldbus options.
