Denso Void Filler is easy to pump between gaps.

Denso North America manufactures and supplies a wide selection of anti-corrosion solutions for industrial use. A common choice from the company is its Void Filler brand of injectable petrolatum compound. The Denso team has specifically formulated this product for hot injection into the voids that occur between pipes, cables, ducts, and protective sleeves to exclude air and water. Generally pumped warm, Void Filler sets to a semi-solid paste to provide corrosion protection for steel.

Based on petrolatum hydrocarbons

Used to displace water, inhibit corrosion, enhance adhesion, and control flow, Void Filler is based entirely on petrolatum hydrocarbons with additives to fulfill these functions. Void Filler petrolatum compound is non-hardening, has excellent flexibility, is easy to pump, and is unaffected by water, acids, and salts.

Application of this petrolatum compound is straightforward. First, the user heats Void Filler to a temperature between 80 and 120 degrees Celsius. Then the compound is pumped into the lowest point until it exits the highest point in a continuous stream at about 70 degrees Celsius. Denso recommends completely filling all voids between strands and ducts to exclude all air and water in order to achieve full long-term corrosion protection.

Other properties and specifications for Void Filler:
