Vinyl grips by MOCAP are designed to fit any application

MOCAP makes four types of vinyl grips.

Another popular item the company manufactures is four types of vinyl grips. MOCAP’s versatility enables it to make different types of these grips in the traditional round, straight-wall style, as well as finger-nub versions of its round grips.

Vinyl dip moulding process

To produce its line of vinyl grips, MOCAP employs a vinyl dip-moulding process that results in flexible PVC grips and enables customers to specify length, wall thickness, colour, surface texture, and material hardness, all with no additional tooling charges. With this process, MOCAP can make dip-moulded vinyl plastic grips to fit any application.

The four types of vinyl grips that MOCAP manufactures are as follows:

• Double-dip grips. The DDG series consists of durable grips with a unique wall feature, available in many colour/material combinations. These grips offer maximum comfort and are used on a broad range of hand tools and instruments. Recommended for applications that require thicker walls or unique handle covers.
• Round vinyl grips. The RVG series has flexible, durable grips that stretch for a tight fit and never split, tear, or shred. They are tough, attractive, and weather-resistant. Available in a variety of materials, colours, hardness durometers, and lengths to suit various applications. Nearly 80 sizes available, with inner diameters ranging from 4.7 to 117.5 millimetres (mm).
• Flat vinyl plastic grips. The FVG series consists of flexible grips with flat and round ends, depending on size. They snugly fit handles, tools, and other objects without splitting, tearing, or shredding. Like the round grips, these products may be customized with MOCAP’s unique printing customization processes, which apply permanent, durable imprints. Nearly 50 sizes available, ranging from 1.6 to 9.5 mm in inner diameter.
• Finger-nub vinyl grips. Grips with an ergonomic design to enable secure holds. The MFG series is touch, attractive, and weather-resistant. Four sizes available, from 15.5 to 24.4 mm in inner diameter.

Many of these grips can be imprinted with company names or logos.
