The Cleco 75 angle nut runner

Cleco Tools is a major manufacturer of industrial power tools, with products available to the Canadian market through Dobco Equipment Ltd. The Cleco team produces more than 500 models of nut runners among its pneumatic assembly tools, for example, with angle nut runners available in various designs and series for different scenarios. Featuring a lever start and reversibility options, the Cleco 75 series of angle nut runners is engineered for high performance, durability, mounting versatility, and serviceability.

Industry standard for reliability

Features of these angle nut runners include a heavy-duty Cleco motor, which is the industry standard for reliability, and planetary gears that are designed especially for tool speed changes with minimal part service and replacement. The 75 series also offers heavy-duty spindle bearings and splined retractable spindles that reduce friction, increase torque repeatability, and prolong the operational lifespan of the instrument. Cleco makes reversible and non-reversible models, and each tool has external torque adjustment, a rotating exhaust deflector, and a ½- and ¾-inch square drive.

The Cleco 75 series of nut runners comprises five models that run from 95 to 430 newton metres in torque. Free speed ranges from 90 to 280 revolutions per minute, with an air inlet size of ½ an inch and minimum hose inner diameter of 5/8 of an inch on each model. The series includes three 11.4-pound units and two 13.1-pound models. The two heavier tools each measure 20.1 inches in length, 2¾ inches in angle-head height, and 1.44 inches from side to centre. The three 11.4-pound nut runners each measure 19.4 inches in length and 1.09 inches from side to centre, while two of them have an 11.4-inch angle-head height and the other has an angle-head height of 2½ inches.

Cleco Tools manufactures several other series of angle nut runners too. For instance, the 55 series has many similarities to the 75 line, including the motor, planetary gears, and spindle bearings. Among the other options, which are also available from Dobco, are tools with sliding-knob or twist-ring reversibility, as well as ones with start buttons instead of levers.
