One of the manufacturer’s most recent products is so powerful that they call it the Rockstar: a two-inch, heavy-duty, solids-handling plastic flap pump that comes highly recommended for corrosive or aggressive environments.

Engineered to function fully in any position, the Rockstar pump by Versa-Matic is perfect for handling corrosive liquids and large solids that would clog other pumps.

Robust yet lightweight design

The Rockstar has a robust yet lightweight design that enables easy movement and maintenance, and it is configured to offer a longer operational lifespan with its diaphragm wear pads. This pump from York Fluid Controls includes a top-suction, bottom-discharge structure that works with gravity to stop particulates from settling inside the inner chambers. With its durable mounting feet, lifting handles, and hanging points, the Rockstar is the ideal option for many industrial applications.

Among its other notable features, the Rockstar can pass entrained solids of up to 45.7 millimetres, and its weight of only 27 kilograms (kg) makes it easily portable. The easy access to the flap valves allows users to clean them quickly and replace them without de-installing the pump from service. With a best-in-class air consumption of less than 110 cubic metres per hour at the maximum pump flow, users lower their yearly compressed-air expenses significantly.
