York Fluid Controls Ltd. carries the full spectrum of Versa-Matic products in Canada, including two new lines of full-flow, high-pressure pumps: the E1-HP one-inch pump, and the E2-HP two-inch pump. These units are ideal for applications that require more power than a typical air-operated double-diaphragm pump can provide, like pumping high-viscosity fluids for long distances. They can handle any task, including filter press feeds, mine dewatering, slurry transfer, and high-pressure discharge.

Users get an unmatched level of reliability from the E1-HP and E2-HP, which have innovative air-valve systems that eliminate stalling, icing, and air leaks. Versa-Matic has assembled the most complete line of high-pressure pumps on the market, with more options for size, pressure, flow rates, construction material, and functionality.

Other relevant applications include ceramic slip and glaze spraying/transfer, long-run solvent transfer of paint and coatings, viscous lubricant transfer, and chemicals. Both models have the broadest array of sizes and material options in their class, including either aluminum or stainless steel wetted components and diaphragms and check valves available in Neoprene, Nitrile/Buna, two-piece PTFE, or Santoprene.

The full-flow design reduces pulsation and boosts productivity and flow-rate flexibility. Each pump can start at zero head with no issues, meaning that no addition fill pump is required. With a rugged, leak-free bolted design, each unit comes standard from York Fluid Controls with a robust stainless steel air valve. Both models have a suction lift of six (dry) or 7.6 (wet) metres.

The E1-HP offers discharge pressures of up to 232 pounds per square inch (psi), with a flow rate adjustable from zero to 125 litres per minute (lpm), air exhaust of 3/8 of an inch NPTF or ½ an inch BSP, and maximum particle size of three millimetres in diameter. The E2-HP has pressures up to 232 psi and can be fitted with various elastomers, such as Nitrile, Neoprene, Santoprene, or PTFE. Other specifications: flow rate adjustable from zero to 348 lpm, air exhaust of ¾ of an inch NPTF or BSP, and maximum particle size of six millimetres in diameter.
