ELS vacuum lifters offer several important benefits.

Standard and custom vacuum lifting products can be sourced from Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment Inc. (ELS). ELS Application Specialists assist customers to select the appropriate vacuum system and components to suit their needs. Any object, material, shape, or environment can be accommodated.

Vacuum Lifters are an ideal ergonomic lifting solution for applications involving repetitive handling of non-porous, semi-porous, or porous loads. They are easy to install and easy to use, with handling operations that can involve lifting, tilting, and rotating.

Benefits of Vacuum Lifters:

  • Ergonomic lifting
  • Increased efficiencies
  • Reduced risk of worker injury

Types of Vacuum Lifters:

  • Mechanical Self-Powering Systems do not rely on plant power, outside controls, or complex accessories. These self-contained units generate their own power and are excellent for sheet- and plate-handling operations. Lifter configurations range from a single pad to multiple pads mounted on cross-arms to suit physical size, material, and load weight. Suitable for horizontal-to-horizontal transfer of non-porous loads only.
  • Continuous Flow Vacuum Systems are best for handling porous materials. Systems have an electric chain hoist that provides vertical lift. They offer improved headroom and stable holding for dumping and pouring applications.
  • Vacuum Tube Systems have a wide range of applications and have traditionally been a popular choice. They are ideal for pick and place operations, such as palletizing, stacking, loading, and unloading of porous products, such as bags or boxes.
  • Standard Powered Vacuum Lifters are made up of a lifting frame and component parts. They can be designed to tilt, rotate, and side-grip; and can be ordered to suit lifting needs such as boxes, sheet materials, cylindrical items, coils, rolls, and light or heavy non-porous loads.
  • Custom Vacuum Lifting Systems can be made to suit any application, such as attaching to multiple items on one lift, lifting layered items such as cobble stones, or lifting long, laminated, wooden beams.

ELS is an authorized dealer/distributor of Anver®, Piab®, and Schmaltz® and can customize vacuum lifting systems to suit any application.
