EXAIR offers a fast and low-cost solution for applications that require parts, scrap, trim and other bulk materials to be conveyed in tight spaces. Its new aluminum 3/8 NPT and 1/2 NPT Threaded Line Vac Air Operated Conveyors convert an ordinary pipe into a powerful conveying system that is ideal for moving large volumes over long distances. However, these new, smaller sizes make the Threaded Line Vac air operated conveyors equally suitable for moving small parts or small quantities out of small spaces.
How it works
The Threaded Line Vac is designed to attach to plumbing pipe couplers — ordinary pipe and fittings available from any hardware store. It ejects a small amount of compressed air to produce a vacuum on one end, with high output flows on the other. Response is instantaneous. Regulating the compressed air pressure provides infinite control of the conveying rate.
Ideal applications
Threaded Line Vac Conveyors are suited to a wide variety of conveying applications, including scrap trim removal, material conveying, part transfer, fibre tensioning, filling operations and sampling. Typical materials they’re used to convey include plastic pellets, textiles, chips, paper, bulk solids, shavings, sawdust and more. Their small size makes them perfect for fitting into cramped spaces and the tight confines of many production lines, and they are ideal for long-distance conveying.

Additional details
Aluminum Threaded Line Vacs are CE compliant. The new sizes are 3/8 NPT and 1/2 NPT; however, larger sizes up to three NPT are available, as well as smooth end models for hose up to five inches. An optional mounting bracket is also available for easy mounting.
