Parker two-way servo proportional valve

Parker industrial solutions are available from Wainbee Limited, including valves. The new TFP series of proportional cartridge throttle valves offers outstanding flow rates with minimal pressure loss. Distinguished by their two-way design, these valves control high flows precisely with maximum dynamics in die cast, hydraulic presses, injection moulding, and other applications.

Enhanced by VCD technology, the TFP line of active operated two-way servo valves by Parker is very suitable for tough tasks in which the highest flows must be controlled at maximum dynamics.

An almost unique energy density

The TFP series is recommended for the industrial and moulding markets. Due to the high flow rates mixed with lowest pressure losses, these valves offer an almost unique energy density. This allows the use of smaller sizes and, therefore, the design of size- and cost-optimized control manifold blocks. Since the maximum performance increases, users can realize systems with substantially higher flow, such as with large die-cast machines for the automotive sector.

The two-stage design consists of a DFplus pilot valve and a main stage with pressure-compensated poppet and LVDT. The optimized, patented sleeve enables nearly the full use of the ISO cavity, while the oriented windows allow the optimum adaptation of the control manifold block design. The DFplus helps this valve to achieve extremely fast response times, from 11 to 32 milliseconds, and the pilot valveā€™s integrated electronics have two control loops for the main poppet and the pilot spool. The active control is positioning the main poppet, regardless of the pressure conditions in the system.

Other features and benefits of this valve series from Wainbee:

  • seven sizes available, from NG25 up to NG100;
  • cavity and mounting pattern, compliant with ISO 7368;
  • flow range of up to 11,100 litres per minute at five bar
  • high power density, which typically saves one size when designing control manifold blocks, thus allowing smaller blocks with the same performance;
  • high precision for high-quality products, minimum scrap rate, and long machine lifespan;
  • extremely quick step response, which shortens material processing and cycle times; and
  • 420-bar maximum operating pressure.
