Two-outlet power supply by EXAIR works with Gen4 static eliminators

EXAIR offers a new Gen4 two-outlet power supply to use with static eliminators.

Electromagnetically shielded modular power cable

Users get to choose between input voltages of 115VAC or 230VAC with this new Gen4 selectable-voltage power supply. With two five-kilovolt stainless steel output connectors, this device can energize two static eliminators at once. This means that the customer can perform applications that require up to two Gen4 Super ion air knives, ion air guns, ion air cannons, ionizing bars, or any other EXAIR Gen static-eliminating units, both connected to one power supply at the same time.

Each Gen4 two-outlet power supply has an electromagnetically shielded modular power-supply cable that eases routing and connections. An integrated fuse on the primary protects against voltage spikes, and the lit power switch is field-replaceable and indicates operation. The power supply is housed in a durable metal enclosure that is perfect for rugged work environments; this housing measures 5½ inches long, four inches wide, and 3.4 inches high.

Product safety is a priority at EXAIR, and like all of the Gen4 series, this two-outlet power supply uses UL-recognized components and complies with the strict European CE and RoHS safety standards. Each Gen4 static eliminator has a bayonet-style connector that the user can insert into the power supply, in which the electrical connection is formed deep inside to prevent all shock hazards; the eliminators also have armoured high-voltage cables that resist abrasion and cuts.
