Two new Hytrol live roller conveyors are breaking new ground

Hytrol has just launched two new, groundbreaking variants to its acclaimed NBEZ line: the NBEZ-A and NBLR live roller conveyors. These two products offer exciting new protocols for material-handling solutions.

A new all-in-one solution

The NBEZ-A, or Narrow Belt Accumulator with Air, is a pneumatic variant of the original NBEZ live roller conveyors, which are designed for material-handling systems that require product accumulation. What makes this conveyor stand out is the incorporation of pneumatic actuators to drive the rollers with engagement of the pressure carriage. This enhances the manufacturing facility or warehouse with a high-density, high-throughput solution for moving boxes and packages.

Another advantage of the NBEZ-A is that its belt is not centred on the conveyor – which allows it to accommodate space for transfers and/or diverts. This makes the conveyor perfectly convenient for users who desire more room for accessories. In addition, every NBEZ-A model comes with the patented Hytrol EZLogic zero-pressure accumulation controls already installed. This way, customers do not have to buy a separate logic controller in order to maintain accumulation. The NBEZ-A is the ideal all-in-one solution.

Also new from Norpak is Hytrol’s NBLR, or Narrow Belt Live Roller, series of live roller conveyors. This material-handling solution has a simple goal – to move cartons from light to medium with longer-length runs, with a capacity of 35 pounds per foot. The NBLR achieves effortless conveyance with its endless splice belt with seamless construction, which reduces conveyor system wear, minimizes downtime, reduces noise, and extends the conveyor’s operational life.

Hytrol has incorporated ABEC-1 bearings into the 1.9-inch-diameter rollers on the NBLR conveyor. Many customers appreciate these bearings for their durability, noise attenuation, and ability to handle high speeds. ABEC-1 bearings contribute to the ease of maintenance with these conveyors.
