Diasaw Manufacturing, Tsubaki’s newly acquired sprocket and related drive components company, carries a wide selection of components for drive systems, transfer conveyors and waste conveyors. These products offer performance and a long service life to sawmill applications.

Drive systems

Tsubaki manufactures a wide range of single, double, double single, and multi-strand sprockets, which are available with Smart Tooth wear indicator technology, for specific drive systems. The company also produces cut-to-length drive chains, including its popular Lambda, Titan and Super Series chains, which are designed to offer a reliable, long-lasting performance and minimize downtime.

Transfer conveyors

The components available for use with transfer conveyors include 81X, conveyor and welded steel mill chains, as well as mill chain sprockets. These products are particularly useful for sawmill applications. For example, the 81X chain is at the heart of every modern sawmill operation, and is available in many grades of quality to suit the performance and financial requirements of each application. The company’s welded steel mill chain is also ideal for use in such demanding applications as mills thanks to its high tensile and fatigue strength, and its ability to withstand high shock loading, provide resistance to abrasive material, and operate in extreme temperatures and climates.

Waste conveyors

Tsubaki also manufactures drag chain attachments and drum assemblies for use with waste conveyors. Drag chains are ideal for the movement of very heavy loads, and have earned a reputation for providing efficient and economical service when used in drag conveyor applications, such as those involving chips and sawdust. These chains combine strength and precision with impact-, wear-, shock load- and abrasion-resistant qualities to offer a long service life. In addition, the company’s drum assemblies can be supplied with shaft, pillow block bearings and drive sprockets for a quick and easy drop-in solution. This makes sprockets working in confined spaces with difficult access and heavy loads easier to maintain.
