Dobco carries Trumpf's TruTool bevellers.

Dobco Equipment Ltd. makes the complete lineup of Trumpf assembly tools, ranging from nibblers to seam lockers, accessible to businesses across Canada. For example, the TruTool brand of bevellers is designed and manufactured to create even, oxide-free, and metallically smooth edges on flat sheet metal, tubes, interior cut-outs, and curves.

Highly recommended for machine, rail-car, ship, and steel construction applications, these bevellers by Trumpf also work for job shops for sheet-metal processing and metalworking.

With fast working speed

These bevellers offer many unique competitive advantages: users can prepare great weld seams in only one operation, without any required reworking. Cutting edges without any emission or oxides results in perfect, metallically free K, V, X, and Y edges. Precise surface roughness and oxide-free surfaces lead to very durable weld connections, resulting in better seams. Tasks progress quickly because of these bevellers’ fast working speed, and they regrind the cutting tools multiple times and exchange them with no additional tools required – which prolongs operational life.

Three models of Trumpf TruTool bevellers are available from Dobco. The TKA 500 is a three-cutter tool system with bevel angles of 30, 45, and 60 degrees. This model can accommodate radius edges, while optional cutter mounts for angles from 15 to 55 are available as well. With a working speed of ten feet per minute, the TKA 500 is the lightest beveller by Trumpf, at only 8½ pounds.

The TruTool TKF 700 is a 12-pound model on which the bevel height and sheet thickness can be adjusted without any additional tools. This beveller has a working speed of five feet per minute and mounting brackets for bevel angles of 30, 37½, or 45 degrees. The TKF 1500 has a bevelling angle that is easy to adjust from 20 to 55 degrees. With a working speed of 6½ feet a minute, the TKF 1500 weighs 36 pounds, making it Trumpf’s heaviest beveller.
