Dobco carries Trumpf TruTool bevellers.

Dobco Equipment is a leading Canadian supplier of assembly tools, including a broad range of equipment by Trumpf. For a cost-efficient means of achieving high-quality weld seams, businesses go with Trumpf’s line of bevelling tools. These bevellers are designed and built to create even, oxide-free, and metallically smooth edges on flat sheet metal, tubes, interior cut-outs, and curves. They are highly recommended for machine, railway-car, ship, and steel construction applications and in job shops for sheet-metal processing and metalworking.

Great seams in one operation

There are many competitive advantages of using Trumpf bevellers. Workers can prepare great weld seams in only one operation, with no reworking necessary. Cutting edges with no emissions or oxides results in perfect, metallically free K, V, X, and Y edges. Precise surface roughness and oxide-free surfaces lead to extremely durable weld connections, which results in superior seams. Users progress quickly due to the bevellers’ fast working speed and regrind the cutting tools multiple times and exchange them without needing additional tools, making operational life longer.

Customers can chose from three types of Trumpf TruTool bevelling tools from Dobco. The TKA 500 is a three-cutter tool system with bevel angles of 30, 45, and 60 degrees. This model can accommodate radius edges, and optional cutter mounts for angles from 15 to 55 are also available. This is Trumpf’s lightest beveller, weighing only 8½ pounds, and has a working speed of ten feet a minute.

The TruTool TKF 700 is a 12-pound model of which the bevel height and sheet thickness can be adjusted with no extra tools. With a working speed of five feet per minute, these bevelling tools have mounting brackets for bevel angles of 30, 37½, or 45 degrees. The TKF 1500 has a bevelling angle that is simple to adjust from 20 to 55 degrees. Weighing 36 pounds, this is Trumpf’s heaviest beveller, with a working speed of 6½ feet per minute.
