Dobco carries TruTool bevellers by Trumpf.

Dobco Equipment Ltd. carries the full range of Trumpf assembly tools, from nibblers to seam lockers. One option is the TruTool family of bevellers, all of which are designed and built to create even, oxide-free, and metallically smooth edges on flat sheet metal, tubes, interior cut-outs, and curves. These bevellers come highly recommended for machine, rail-car, ship, and steel construction tasks, plus in job shops for sheet-metal processing and metalworking.

No emissions or oxides

Customers get many unique competitive benefits from these bevellers. They can prepare great weld seams in merely one operation, with no reworking necessary. Cutting edges with no emission or oxides results in perfect, metallically free K, V, X, and Y edges. Exact surface roughness and oxide-free surfaces lead to very durable weld connections, which results in superior seams. Users progress quickly due to the fast working speed of these Trumpf tools, and they regrind the cutting tools multiple times and exchange them with no need for additional tools; this prolongs operational lifespans.

There are three models of Trumpf TruTool bevellers available from Dobco. The TKA 500 is a three-cutter tools system with bevel angles of 30, 45, and 60 degrees. This model can accommodate radius edges, and optional cutter mounts for angles from 15 to 55 are also available. With a working speed of ten feet a minute, this is the manufacturer’s lightest beveller at only 8½ pounds.

The TruTool TKF 700 is a 12-pound model on which the user can adjust the bevel height and sheet thickness with no additional tools. This unit has a working speed of five feet per minute and mounting brackets for bevel angles of 30, 37½, or 45 degrees. The TKF 1500 has a bevelling angle that is simple to adjust from 20 to 55 degrees. Weighing 36 pounds, the TKF 1500 is Trumpf’s heaviest beveller, with a working speed of 6½ feet per minute.
