Training workshops target common maintenance challenges

In-plant maintenance workshops

Henkel’s maintenance workshops are customized to fit the customer’s specific manufacturing maintenance and reliability goals. These are determined through an initial survey and a plant tour so that the local Henkel sales representative can assess the company’s needs. Once the needs are determined, the hands-on training is scheduled at the customer’s convenience and includes tool kits, training materials, a review of common failure causes and prevention options. This includes identifying specialty chemical materials and machinery adhesives — such as threadlockers, thread and gasket sealants, retaining compounds and surface treatments — that can protect the customer’s facility and its machinery from abrasion, corrosion, breakdowns and other issues. Taking such preventative measures can help extend equipment service life and reduce costly repairs.

Other workshops

In addition to the in-plant training, Henkel offers several other types of workshops that can be conducted at the customer’s plant or some place off-site. They include:

• Adhesive Technology Workshop. This option provides participants with a broader knowledge of the various adhesive technologies now available for design and manufacturing. It covers the essential considerations for choosing the best adhesive solution.
